How Nomination Shipments Work with SHIP TO WORLD
A simple, clear process from pre-alert to disbursement — designed to minimise back-and-forth and keep you informed at every step.
Send Pre-Alert & Documents
Email or WhatsApp your nomination details — BL copy, commercial invoice, packing list, and any special instructions. We review documents immediately and flag any issues before the vessel arrives.
Document Review & GD Preparation
Our customs team verifies the HS code, value declaration, and document accuracy. We prepare the Goods Declaration and advise you on any discrepancies or missing documents — before filing, not after.
GD Filing & Channel Assignment
We file the GD on WeBOC or PSW. You receive confirmation of filing and the channel assigned — Green, Yellow, or Red. We update you immediately via WhatsApp so you can inform your client.
Examination & Clearance
For Yellow or Red channel shipments, our clearing agent attends the port examination in person, coordinates with customs officers, and handles any queries. We update you on the outcome immediately.
Cargo Release & Delivery
Once Out-of-Charge (OOC) is issued, we coordinate cargo collection or arrange container haulage to the consignee's location. Gate-in or delivery confirmation is sent to you as soon as it is complete.
Disbursement Account & Invoice
We issue a clear disbursement account covering all costs incurred — customs duties, port charges, terminal fees, and our agency fee — along with supporting receipts. Accounts are sent promptly after cargo release.
